Presenting Head Coach KarinKarin Harvey is entering her 17th season as the head coach of the women’s basketball program and has turned the Red Hawks into a national power. The all-time winningest coach in program history, Harvey has put together 319 - 113 record in her 16 years at the helm including some the great seasons since Montclair State began playing basketball in 1969. Harvey has led the Red Hawks to six New Jersey Athletic Conference championships and six NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball appearances including a magical run to the Final Four in 2015 where MSU finished third in the nation. Her winning percentage at Montclair State (.779) and her record in the New Jersey Athletic Conference is even higher (140-31 / .819). With her amazing run of success since taking over the program in 2007, Harvey has taken home a ton of hardware for coaching excellence. She has been named the NJAC Coach of the Year six times including four straight from 2015-18 as well as being named the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Division III Coach of the year five times. Harvey is a five-time WBCA Regional Coach of the Year and has been a finalist for the organization’s National Coach of the Year five times.To be the best learn from the best!
